Mandala XXIX or "Mandala Spinning Out of Control"

Above:  Mandala XXIX. 2021. Custom framed: 30" x 30".  Assorted found objects and buttons stitched to a background of patched-together pieces of a vintage pink-and-brown quilt.  The found objects  include:  wooden parts of a piano, pinking scissors, clock gears, a cello peg, tatting shuttles, miniature locks, assorted sewing machine feet, a typewriter erasure, a pewter soldier, buckles, costume jewelry, keys, a Squirt bottle cap, the last brass lighting fixture, large wire paper clips, zipper pulls, a reading award, drapery hooks, aluminum can pull tabs, champagne muselet caps, hinges, and some things for which I have no names.

Mandala XXVIII

Found objects include:  rotary telephone dial, metal picture frame hangers, buttons, laminated Tampa Nugget cigar bands, keys, dominoes, paper fasteners, four pieces of glass from two vintage lamps, needle threaders, and metal jump rings.

Objects include: Glass flower frog, aluminum cookie cutters, rivets, buttons, metal frame hanging devices, keys, clock gears, paper fasteners, a set of eight vintage cheese knives, a set of eight vintage metal coasters, red Tinkertoy sticks, vintage cocktail food picks, bread bag closures, and clip-on earring findings.
